Jaguar Italy partner of the Italian Rowing Federation

In the year of London Olympic Games, Jaguar Italia chooses the Italian rowing for an exclusive project in searching the excellence in the sport. Twenty young rowers have been selected for the Jaguar ExcellenceAcademy identified by competitive results, course of study, interpersonal and communication qualities.

Target of the project is searching excellence investing in the training of emerging athletes, providing them cognitive tools for their sports and working growth.

 

On the Jaguar Italia Facebook page there will be a section dedicated to the Academy on which the video-presentations of the twenty young rowers will be published, as on the Italian Rowing Federation (F.I.C.) web site and Facebook page.

From the next week it will be possible to vote videos on line. The visitors rating, with the evaluations of Jaguar Italia and F.I.C. commissions, will determine the choice of the first five rowers that, beginning from March, they will become testimonial in a series of events and races organized in the most prestigious Italian rowing in Rome, Turin, Padova, Naples and Milan. 

In September, a further selection by the Jaguar Excellence Academy will designate the two athletes who will be entitles the JEA Awards: a scholarship to enrich their knowledge with a public speaking course, or a Master in Sport Management or Self-management, and an English corse in the cities they live and 30 days in United Kingdom with the British Council.

Seven of the twenty rowers have already obtained the qualification for the Olympic Games. Six of them are women. Many of them are World Champions in their categories and two of them are World Champions of Coastal Rowing.

 

The Jaguar Excellence Academy programme provides also very competitive appointments. In one of the five steps of the Rowing Clubs circuit, just before the Olympics, Jaguar will organize a very special event, named "The Race", in which some of the JEA athletes will compete. The programme includes also interchanges with the Oxford University and the participation at the Henley Royal Regatta,
